Internet technology turns 45 years:

The sensation of the world as it is, Internet technology is now 45 years old, say around 16480 days. Imagine the days when there was no computer technology available and compare it with the scenario it has brought in work culture as a great revolution nothing short of a full scale magic. This also completes 25 years when the World Wide Web (www) was born to the amazement of every one in this world. Now that it is in a full fledged operation touching the pinnacles of modus operandi on work culture, the present day generation has every reason to have a feel of stupefied amazement when they are told as to what the world was without internet technology. In fact the wonders it has created in every field of developmental activities in the world as a whole gives it a fit case to commemorate its inception as a compulsory annual festival all over the world.

Identifying the poor:

One owes every sympathy to the poor not just as a ritual but in tangible terms as they are supposed to be a lot deserving help from those who can afford it but isn’t it a difficult job to identify them in the crowd of those who are no more really as such?. A mason who used to be in tatters earlier being paid a petty sum for his work joins his job now well dressed with a wrist watch on his hand and a mobile phone in his pocket and so does a rickshaw puller, and even a vegetable vendor. Thhelawalahs in the streets are the same thing. No more low paid they are earning enough now as against their earlier status of being treated as much poor a category in the society. Even a beggar thumps at your door with a heavy knock as if the alms are his claim now and no more a charity. If the beggar happens to be a woman she is more aggressive with an impression as if  she is chasing you like a hound not prepared to spare you unless you quite oblige her; if you don’t, she turns the one using abusive language against you. If you are an enthusiast on helping others on the pretext that they are the poor ones, you may have to go for a deep search to trace a real poor who is hungry and hankers for some food which task of identifying is awesomely onerous. Thanks to the change in social scenario.

Special leave consideration for lady staff:

As per the ruling given by the Supreme Court of India the women employees in the government offices are now entitled to 730 days leave at a stretch especially to take care of their children below 18 years age. The ruling envisages the care not only for the children in the cradle but even those going to school. The women employees also may have the option of combining the leave due to them in other categories as per their needs. It was a long felt need of the lady staff in the government offices and they have now got it with the Supreme Court intervening in the matter. Much better it was if the government had taken such a decision at their own without the Court’s intervention. Better still it could be if the ruling so given is allowed to be applied to women employees in other sectors too in the country in the case of both public and private undertakings including banks where there is a large number of the women employees working all over the country.

Narendra Modi’s popularity graph:

After Namo (Narendra Modi) was declared a Prime Ministerial candidate by Bhartiya Janta Party he is acquiring thumping laurels from not only his party, supporters and followers but equally from all and sundry in the country as a whole. People are using his image on their caps, shirts and other wears. The latest instance is that of a fan of his printing his photograph on their invitatiion card for marriage in the family. Judged by the practical developmental work done by him as a Chief Minister of Gujarat for the last one full decade, Narendra Modi is the one who fully deserves love and support displayed like this. People of the country actually like real work and not merely lavish talks on issues confronting India.

Imbalances in work output:

Clamour for equality is there in a bumper measure on all counts every where in the world but it is a sort of an utopia which hardly works in a practical manner. The factor of equalising is more a managerial factor than the one directly related to workforce. Workforce does need equal treatment as from the relative management but there is another factor involved where it is for the employees to realise that they are equally the partners and there it is they themselves to play the requisite role in retaining the equality aspect to a reasonable level. There was a news as from media the other day that a fourth class employee turned up to his job four years after he had joined it in a school in some rural area and when questioned his reply was that he was no exception as it was a common practice there even including the teachers for a long time. Normally this is a routine scenario particularly in the rural areas. This gives workforce a bad name and ethically it is their responsibility to abstain from such a practice. Moreover, they have also to bear in mind that several of their counterparts elsewhere are the victims of working for unlimited hours in various departments particularly those relating to banking and they are denied all Sundays and holidays without any extra compensation in lieu thereof. Those who are shirking from work are only acting detrimental to the interest of those who are forced to work without any limit on their work schedule.

Miracle treasure of gold in Daundiyakhera -(Part 2):

Astrologers Vs. excavators:

….Continued:      Archaeological Survey of India is continuing its work at Daundiyakheda. It was basically at the behest of Shobhan Sarkar’s astrological prediction that there was huge stock of gold beneath the earth there. His spokesmen also predicted that similar type of gold storage is there in the grounds of Parade at Kanpur. Narendra Modi, a potential Prime Ministerial candidate as from BJP during the next elections, made a statement while addressing his rally at Kanpur on the last 19th October that it was all a wastage and that the government should instead try to bring back the black money lying in different bank accounts abroad which may really serve some useful purpose in regard to Indian economy. This statement irked the sentiments of the fore tellers and they took an exception of it. In fact there was nothing wrong in the statement and the position was duly clarified by Modi himself through his emissary Satish Mahana, a local MLA at Kanpur. Predicting events is not a new venture as it has been obtaining in our country right from the start of Vedic era and the very truth behind the news is to come out after the excavators digging efforts are over. Why should there be much of a fuss about it, let the result be there in physical terms. The most unfortunate thing in our country is that any matter, a trivial one or significant, is given the colour of politics.

Well done, Prema, you deserve laurels.

You have done really so well, Prema Jaykumar, by securing top rank at all India level in Indian Chartered Accountancy contest. Congratulations to you.

Prema Jaykumar is the daughter of an ordinary auto ricksha driver, Jaykumar Perumal, from Mumbai. Credit, besides Prema herself, goes to her father and the family as a whole who might have given her all support enabling her to secure much coveted a position of the first rank in Chartered Accountancy test at all India level despite their limited means of livelihood. Working hard is the master key for any success, says Prema Jaykumar, and she confidently believes in this as a matter of conviction. It is certainly always a challenge to the people entering in to a tough competition and secure a top level rank, particularly for those who have a meagre source of income to support their whole family. Those who are well placed income wise but are unable to perform well in the relative examinations have to learn a lesson from girls like Prema Jaykumar. All the best to her with congratulations as from other Indians like us.

He bites a bread by earning hard every bit of it:

523531_182499905218238_1531242259_n[1]Toiling so hard the whole day, rather till late in the night, he works indefatigably to earn some livelihood for himself and his family. A rugged body, wrinkled face, white hair fluttering upward, wearing a spec with heavy glasses indicative of a blurred vision and tough bones bulging outside the body, he is a live picture of hardships.  He labours so hard unlike those who don’t work at all but are lucky enough to lead a comfortable life with plenty of luxuries at their command. In fact they are the ones who only enjoy the fruits of the so hard a labour this man, or others like him, put in by undergoing so much of pain and fatigue not affordable by every one. There is no dearth of people in our country, who enjoy their meals just in haraam without themselves doing any work. Our humble salutes to this man, or men like him.

Time constraint–a real problem or just an apology of it?

People are busy, rather very busy, unable to spare any time for several other matters of equally an important nature. True it is, particularly in to-day’s atmosphere of run and chase for every thing round the clock. Once Gerald Ford, one of the American Presidents, was asked a question by the media as to what sort of any problem he felt after joining office as such, he replied telling that his biggest problem was that he was unable to spare time to timely join his family at dinner. This might have been a very natural problem for a gigantic personality like an American President. There are instances too in contrast to this. A friend of mine, Dr. Sainani of Mumbai, who was also a top rank consultant to the then President of India, told me that even if heavens fall or the doom occurs, “I am the last man to miss my dinner with my wife sharp at 8pm”. These are of course exceptions, but by and large people use busyness as a tool for an excuse. This is in fact a clash in priorities. How much importance you attach to an issue is the matter. If you are not interested to do a particular job, you pretend to be busy, or if you take the task assigned to you seriously, you are the one to extend necessary priority to it and then you are at it instantly. In majority of cases, being otherwise ‘busy’ is an excuse and an apology to cover up your lack lustre and a limping interest in the job concerned. Attending to a task is a matter of will, and if you are interested in it you can very well manage your time for it; if not, you don’t have any time at all at your disposal. This is what I am fully eligible to say having meticulously followed a schedule of working 20 hours plus a day for several decades.

Element of faith–an essential ingredient for peace:

A cry for peace is common for all every where. Who wants to live with an uneasy mind? No body. And with an uneasy mind, none can pursue his/ her goal with any success. The experts suggest many a ways to procure success like hard work, consistency, necessary zeal and fervour for the purpose, and larger amount of hours devoted to the task. Nothing is possible if one’s mind is not in a proper mode of an ease that inculcates the process of work with a purpose. Peace, after all, is nothing like a commodity to be purchased from some market; the orientation of which lies in within an individual himself/ herself, and it is cent per cent self made. There again, one should have the required amount of a compatible environment. For such an environment, what is required most is ‘faith’. Faith in any thing, a god or goddess, a man, a woman, an animal, sex or even some dead stock or yet even a monster. Such an element of faith has to be unconditional and without any ifs or buts. Once one is able to cultivate it within himself/ herself, this is the end of agonising worries and it is capable of generating peace into the minds of the people concerned; and that becomes the starting point of peace. Once such a peace is attained, there is nothing like any thing impossible in the world.

It is you who can manage aging, not the doctors:

Aging is a natural process. It can only be checked but can not be stopped altogether.Much depends on how the individual concerned is able to manage it.

Since ages it has been a matter of concern for the people on earth as to how they can ensure a longer span of life for themselves. There is nothing like any short cut available for the purpose. One,who is born once, has to grow old and die some day ultimately. What a person can do is to meticulously take due care of his/her health applying necessary precautions with a will in that direction.

In Paleolithic age, it is said, people used to live much longer a life obviously for the reason that they had to toil hard involving a great deal of physical labour to earn their livelihood. Contemporarily there have been several instances where many of the persons had the bliss of leading a comfortable life for much bigger a span. London based Indian author of eminence Nirad Chaudhary died at the age of 102 years. Dubai based Indian painter of great repute M.F.Hussain died at 95+. Zohra Sahgal, a pace setter movie star in India is hale and hearty and continues performing her roles even today. She celebrated her 101st year of life only some time back in Mumbai.

The key note point for a better life health wise is simple living which includes plain sort of food habits. Physical exercise on a routine basis is another component essentially warranted in this connection. For exercise one is not required to be an athlete or an acrobat as even a normal walking coupled with controlled breathings is enough for the purpose.Yoga is another most important a therapy which is conveniently possible for every body -a child, an adult and equally an old man.

What weather has to do with our moods

It is not just like talking about weather when there is no topic available for discussion, it is the very weather that obtains currently making me talk about it. I came across similar topic on the PayPerPost web site where the bloggers were required to discuss weather with reference to current temperature in Arizona (if I remember the place correctly). I failed to reply their challenge question, hence attempt on any writeup by way of a post was out of question. I still felt like talking about it and the very temperature that mercury shows presently at the local level prompts me to pen these few words. It is summer and temperature is bound to rise but the way it is going on a higher side in the month of April itself is an alarming signal for sweltering heat in days to come indicating that hell may break in the months of May and June. No respite in sight as the rains are otherwise due only in middle of June or the time the weather pundits predict, it is a different matter that their predictions like any other forecasts hardly work accurately. Temperature on date in Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh) is at 40 degree Celsius and with this rate it has every likelihood of crossing 47 degree Celsius, if not more, by mid June. It is a peculiar phenomenon that temperature has a great relationship with our mood, mood to work. The more the heat in temperature, the lesser is our performance rate. For those belonging to an affluent society it is possible to rush to some hilly areas seeking some respite but here again the people to suffer most are those who are economically weaker or whose wage level is too low.

Struggling to attend a task

We are proud Indians, proud of our country, our culture, our history. We are infact selflessly proud of our nation as if we try to put material reasoning behind it it just fails. No safe drinking water, no roads, no sanitation, no electricity but it is our commitment and the very bond of attachment we have with our country that making us proud citizens. Committed patriots as we are we are not to hear any thing that undermines the prestige and image of our Bharat Mata and there is no dearth of professional politicians who are available in an abundant number to take advantage of this weakness of ours. We can't afford putting our bond of love for the country to test knowing as we do that there it is a flop for us. We believe in work as we have been hearing since our childhood that 'work is worship' but factually speaking such a worship is hardly practiceable. Only the other day I made a note of preparing certain writeups  for my blogs going through different references which I had to peruse in several breaks as the electricity supply was there as a matter of only glimpses never lasting for more than a few minutes. My inverter already failed because there was no charging in the absence of electricity supply. Kept waiting for the light sitting in the dark in my office. Half an hour, an hour, 2 hours and then it appeared after 4 hours. Felt happy that I could now finish my work taking my laptop into confidence. No it was not to happen as immediately after a few minutes work my laptop stopped again for the reason that no supply of power was there. And like this it is now a matter of 4 days plus that I am struggling to complete my writeups dutifully as my hosts expect me to do but every time I try I miserably fail realising that we are living in a world where we can have any amount of talks on progress and development but are not situationally placed to make any contribution to it work wise, job wise.

Rising to the highest ladder

Text Link Ads Money is the need and so it has been right from the days it replaced barter system used during Paleolithic age for acquiring articles of use by exchanging a commodity for another commodity like to purchase a cow one had to offer say some thing like four goats for a cow or a buffalow or some thing else.In the current scenario money is much more a dominant factor in all respects. Taste for a materialistic style of living is a common choice -be it a poor, a rich or an extra rich.It is money that forms a top factor in the matters of crime and various anti social activities.Hard earned money and money earned through nefarious measures are quite a matter of contrast. Much more satisfied is the one who earns his livelihood by hard labour as against the one who grabs money through corruption, lootings, kidnappings who all the time suffers from uneasiness and a feeling of guility. It is a hawker in the streets or a Mukesh Ambani, much depends as to in what manner they earn money.Mukesh Ambani, now a richest man on the top of the world is undoubtedly the one who could make it to be the richest in global scenario has earned whatever he has to day by sheer labour and hard work and such a process started right from the days of his father Dhirubhai Ambani who could manage a sum of Rs.5,000/ somehow to start his business and that was the beginning to make his son capable of generating a revenue to the tune of 14Crore every hour.He is quite eligible to be called a role model for others particularly those who earn a lot but do so at the cost of others applying dishonest methods for the purpose.
