Even waters of seven oceans can’t erase it:

This post is with reference to its predecessor one the relative link of which is given below:

http://gallery-neelkanth.blogspot.in/2014/07/satans-on-spree-targeting-businessmen.html

What finally has emerged is the otherwise unbelievable fact that the key man most instrumental in killing innocent Jyoti was none else but only her husband Piyush who hired killers for her against an amount of rupees 50,000/ to get rid of her facilitating the love affair he had with another woman who has since been taken into custody by the police along with her paramour. Macbeth kills king Duncan as referred to by William Shakespeare in his historical one act play by the same name ‘Macbeth’ and when he goes back home after committing the heinous crime his wife Lady Macbeth comes across distinct blood stains on his apparel and she cries aghast “…the waters of seven oceans can’t wash it”. Yes, the crime Macbeth had committed was heinous and horrible beyond normal imagination but crime of the nature like this was not the last one and it hovers around humanity equally on date and may continue for ever. What happened to Jyoti was something in sequence and series for all time to come as there lies the inbuilt propensity of humans. One only shudders on the mode of horrible cruelty and callousness on the revelation that Jyoti’s husband Piyush had managed to hear the cries and groans of his wife over mobile phone while she was being killed. No kind of punishments available in Law as on date even if they all are applied together for Jyoti’s husband Piyush are enough to do justice to her unless he be half buried on a public place with dog squads biting and snatching his flesh bit by bit like it happened in the olden days.

Dogs killing blackbucks–How could it happen?

About 31 blackbucks were killed by astray dogs, says the news, in Kanpur Zoo (U.P.) the other day. It’s a mystery as to how a mishap of such an order could have happened on the face of the fact that the zoo is well equipped with necessary security facilities and the requisite number of staff to look after the animals round the clock. The incident occurred between 9pm to 12 o’clock in the midnight. Dogs, 3 in number, were found shot dead by the security staff. Number of astray dogs might have been much more, but blackbucks being bigger in size and strength compared to dogs, it is only surprising that the dogs might have killed as many as 31 blackbucks devouring some of them as their midnight meal. The blackbucks consisted of many who belong to protected category of species. Reportedly, there are now only 5 antelopes, 1 male and 4 females, surviving in the zoo. Report also says that the death of number of blackbucks might have been caused due to food poisoning. Such a possibility, it is said, can’t be ruled out. Although the Director of the Zoo has been suspended along with several others by the Chief Minister, this is no solution to the mystery that surrounds the story. This could be a case of a callous neglect, or the possibility of some other mystery in the case can’t be negated.

A blind horse in harness:

Kanpur (India) is a city where it is just a common feature to come across horse driven carts, carriages or coaches. Yakka wallas (a single horse driven coach), and so are thela wallas (carriers of goods including iron bars for short distances from one place to the other). This city is no more an industrial capital of Uttar Pradesh like it used to be called a long time back, but business houses dealing in iron, cotton goods and coal are still there quite in a big number. It’s a common scene to see buffalos and horses harnessed to the carriages and carriers transporting heavy loads of goods from one shop to another. These buffalos and horses are mercilessly beaten up by their masters repeatedly with the use of crude whips to pick-up speed unmindful of as to what a colossal amount of cruelty they are causing to the animals.

I saw a horse driven carriage full of load moving through a traffic jam. Traffic jams in Kanpur city are of a worst order. To my surprise, the horse was a blind one. He was just unable to manoeuvre his sides in the thick jam with the result that every time he tried to guess his direction he clashed himself against something or the other, and every time his guess failed, he got a rough beating by his master, who used an iron bar for the purpose. The horse, at one stage, fell down to an otherwise much sloppy a ground as it was the down side of a fly-over. But for the rescue efforts made by some men in the jam, the horse escaped from being crushed by the vehicles in the jam just by a hair’s breadth. The driver of the cart was still cursing his horse only. Where are the men and organisations, who continuously keep their drums beating on cruelty against animals?

Abandoned children

Who they are? Why they are abandoned? It is every now and then that there are reports about some child or the other found some where here and there. In most of the cases it is found that the child concerned happens to be the one abandoned for the reason that it was delivered illegitimately and its parents could not afford the shame that could have erupted against them on this count in the society. Why indulge into illegal sex if the parents concerned are not bold enough to face the eventual outcome in the form of delivering an offspring? If it is love and not the lust on the part of the partners in a sexual activity they are supposed to be bold enough to own the child so born. Motherhood is a divine phase and no amount of any explanations can justify the callousness on the part of any mother for abandoning her child. If partners in sex don’t have enough courage to face its consequences including delivery of a child they must at least be capable of affording necessary patience to abstain from any sexual activity.

So typical as they are !

Google's Page Ranking tool is a phenomenon that suits many and equally hurts many. It remains a secret as to how they apply their modus operandi in determining the rank of a particular site. The affected lot are mostly the bloggers who toil hard to prepare their writeups on different topics expecting a better rank so that their  blog gets popularised. There are lucky ones who get a better ranking and equally there are writers who either get no notice or are ranked negatively. Reason? Difficult to ascertain as they hardly entertain any questions or queries on that count. I am a writer having number of blogs to place my posts on varying subjects. One of such blogs is with blogspot.com itself known as Google's own blog site. It was ranked 4, reduced to 3 and subsequently reduced further to 1. The more it progressed volume wise the more it was slashed down rank wise. My other  blog site with Wordpress.com then with the readership of around 1800 was accorded rank 4 and by the time it reached 11,000+ I was expecting much better a rank. To my utter chagrin it was reduced to 2. Basis and the reason? I don't know. Applying my guess I just thought that the reason might be some sort of duplication as I quite innocently had a feeling when I started blogging that whatever I write is my property and I can use the same any where I like with the result that some of my posts were simultaneously used in my different sites but it was all quite in the beginning which practice I stopped long back presuming that may be it was something irregular although none had pointed it out to me. How surprising it is that initially when I used my posts with their reproduction on different sites of my own I hadd a higher rank and when I fully corrected myself on that count just on my own guess, my rank was blatantly reduced like my site with Wordpress.com with rank 4 with readership of around 1800 and rank 2 with a readership of 11,000+. I quite realise there is no point in crying in the wilderness but treatment of this sort is certainly so much demoralising to the writers in general.

Playing with the life of the passengers

Train or Plane, bullock cart or a bicycle, tractor or a crane, horse or a donkey, an elephant or cattles, the riders are, and they have to be, conscious of their security to lead them to safe landing. Who is supposed to take more care, riders themselves or the channels providing the souce ? Factually it is both but there are carriers where passengers have no role like while travelling by air. What precautions a passenger by air has to apply when the concerned pilot(s) go drowsy in the cockpit. Infact there are no effective rules for the purpose nor there is any adherence to the point that flying hours for the pilots must be restricted to a number where they don't get tired and that there should be a provision that rules for necessary rest and relaxation must compulsorily be there. Directorate General of Civil Aviation introduced necessary rules for the purpose but no sooner they were ready they were postponed for the reasons best known to them only. Think of a situation when there are large number of passengers travelling in a plane and the concerned pilot goes sleepy rubbing his eyes to overcome it but fails, what a disaster it may bring, what a tragic mishap it may cause. Those managing airlines matters in India are giving the problem only a secondary rate importance and not the real seriousness it warrants. It amounts to callousness only.

Why commit such a ghastly act?

Technorati Tags: , ,

It’s every now and then when we are told that someone committed suicide. Why this happens? Life is precious never worth ending it. True, there are situations –unbearable tension, hunger, sustentation for family and an unending list of circumstances but it should never be supposed to be a cause for surrendering to death. One has to face the situations with courage and that is what a life demands. If one commits suicide, it is not going to solve the problems he/she is facing. Problems are a challenge and they are tobe taken and met as such.

Only today I came across a news as a shock that Ram Babu, a former Ranji Trophy cricketer and an employee of State Bank, committed suicide by hanging himself on account of severe depression which he was suffering from. Now who is there to take care of his family? Didn’t he bother about the extreme hardship his family may suffer in his absence. It’s a colossal loss not only to the family but much more than to the sports world. The man is gone and no amount of any counseling has any purpose. It is too much of a torture even to those who come across such news but question that still remains unanswered is as to why such a ghastly step could not be avoided.

Prithviraj Chauhan -An answer to Yashika Singh's question!

Technorati Tags: , ,

Born in 1168, Prithviraj Chauhan became king in 1179 when he was just a minor. He inherited the throne from his father Someshwar Chauhan belonging to Rajput dynasty. His mother was Karupuravalli800px-Prithvi_Raj_Chauhan[1].He was extraordinarily strong and was a great warrior. His chest, it is said, was twice the size of his waist. He captured Delhi defeating Raja Tomaro Rajput.Qila Rai Pithora in Delhi was constructed during his time. His empire extended to Haryana, Rajasthan,Madhya Pradesh,Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat.

On his love with Sanyokta, daughter of Raja Jai Chand of Kannauj, there are varying accounts. Some of the historians hold a view that both had never seen each other till swayambar as organised by Raja Jai Chand took place when Prithviraj picked her up on the back of his horse.Sanyokta readily joined him as she already had heard so many great stories of his chivalary and valour falling in love with him. The other version is that both of them were already in love with each other for a long time and used to meet secretly during royal festivities and in temples. But both the accounts are common on one point that Sanyokta's father Jai Chand was never for marrying his daughter with Prithviraj who had to hide himself near the venue of Swayambar and was able to manage her elopement with him on his horse back. He was chased by Jai Chand's soldiers but none could touch him and he moved forward in a flying speed to his daestination with halt at Jaipur staying at Amer Fort for the first honey moon night. Chandra Bardai has given a detailed narration of glory and grandeur of Prithviraj most appealingly describing about love between him and Sanyokta. All historians are common in view on the point that Prithviraj Chauhan was the greatest Hindu King in North India during his time.

Many an invaders from other countries were defeated by him -last one being Mohd.Gori. Mohd.Gori was defeated by Prithviraj Chauhan number of times and every time he had to surrender but Prithviraj Chauhan was kind enough to spare him life.At a stage later Mohd.Gori could manage upper hand and took Prithviraj and his court poet Chandrabardai Bhatt into captivity blinding both of them in both their eyes callously.

Born in India, living in India but not the citizens of India ?

Text Link Ads
Difficult to believe that there could be persons born in this very country and leading a typical life for a known period of more than 150 years without being recognized as the bonafide citizen of India. Known in the neighbouring areas as Jungle Villagers near Katraniaghat in Bahraich district of Uttar Pradesh but this is a reality. The area in olden days belonged to Nanpara State later taken over by the Forest Department. These inhabitants are a harassed lot –police chases them as inti social elements, forest department staff considers them thieves blackmailing them on some count or the other and administration is only prompt enough to give a blunt ‘no’ to their demand for freedom and citizenship. Nearly 5000 in number, their life pattern is more or less like people in the stone age. When chased by police or the forest department employees, they at times have to hide themselves in the bushes and on the tree tops. They and their children have to survive on tree leaves, begging and preying with no regular source of sustentation.
They do cry for freedom at par with others in the country with similar citizenship rights themselves and through the small group they have formed for the purpose but theirs remains just a cry in wilderness and there is none to bother about so tortuous a phase of life they are leading. Denial of citizenship can in no way be a matter of reasons. Most surprising is the feature that even those political guys, who can run several miles at a strentch in search of smallest possible number of votes, are also not caring for them. They possibly will find it worth rubbing their heals only when these virtually downtrodden people are given recognition as bonafide citizens of the country acquiring right to vote.
