Summons are issued against the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi while he is on his otherwise a stormy visit to America by the US Federal Court for the Southern District of New York on a civil law suit filed by the New York based American Justice Centre (AJC), a non profit human rights organisation along with two survivors of the post Godhra violence. Narendra Modi is required to respond to the summon within 21 days after it is served on him, as the Court said. This is how the news is released by the PTI.
