Petition to Rahul Gandhi on pension issues in State Bank of India:

A petition on the above topic has since been addressed to Rahul Gandhi, General Secretary of the Congress Party, on my other blog ‘Avenues2’ as per the link given below:

http://tapovan976.org/2014/03/03/pension-issues-in-sbipetition-to-rahul-gandhi/

An earnest appeal is made to all the sympathisers, well wishers besides pensioners themselves and the readers of this blog too to join the move as a welfare measure by signing the petition and I would owe them lot many thanks.

Market incentives for higher eduction in India:

Reportedly, the 12th Five Year Plan has okayed that the market be permitted to provide higher education earning necessary profit on it. This is obviously with a view to providing the required incentive for a competitive education at the higher level. There appears to be nothing like any big difference between what is proposed to be done and what is already obtaining in full swing in education market resulting into a large scale mushrooming of private schools, colleges and universities, more so during the last one decade. No doubt that there is a cut throat competition, but the private educational institutions are quite able to manoeuvre their sumptuous profit margin at every level callously unmindful of the price factor it costs to the parents of boys and girls pursuing their studies. There is none to highlight the voice of the guardians for every now and then increase in fee and other charges at an exorbitant rate. In fact, what is proposed in the 12th Five Year Plan is only to result into boosting up the avenues for a much bigger a profit margin to the so called education providers, and it has hardly to do any thing with the interest of education seekers at both the lower and higher levels. It hardly makes any difference for those who are having enough of black money, which is not  scarce in our country,  with them to procure necessary education for their wards, but the sufferers are those who have only a fixed income to support their boys and girls. Factually speaking, the real need is to extend some positive measures through which the parents are able to derive some relief instead of the government creating bigger channels to make the rich people more rich flourishing by leaps and bounds.

Dove, the bird of love:

Known as the bird of love, a dove is indeed the one bird that remains engrossed in love all the time except for the timings it is out in search of food. Look wise too, the doves are most beautiful amongst all their fellow birds. It is one of the solitary cases where a dove is shown in the above picture as single, as normally they are the ones who move all around as a pair, say as a couple. The picture above is an online impression pasted here , which temptation I just could not resist.

This move on my part is just to create a diversion of the routine topic in this blog from marketing, politics and business to some thing that deals with most tender a topic like love for which there is nothing like an alternative to this bird of love, the dove.

Waste not resources on trivialities

While delivering his lecture in America, Swami Vibekanand called upon the audience not to waste money on churches and temples but direct the same to the poor, the needy. Nothing warrants more of attention than the people suffering from hunger, he said. What persons in the saddle on power are doing these days is something just in contrast to that. Huge amount of money is wasted on repairing and constructing memorials in the name of those who count more on political angle than human welfare. What is the need of it? The hungry, the destitutes, the haves not, the poor are hankering for food and callous are the heavy weights in politics who enjoy spending lavishly to the point of grandeur on memorials. OK, those who made some contribution for the protection and welfare of the needy people in the country do deserve a recognition but they certainly can't be given priority over those who are starving for want of necessary sustentation resource. If somewhere some leader talks of providing necessary employment to the needy, this is again in most of the cases, for political reasons and the very theme of the project is caste oriented. Leaders in the helm of affairs responsible for governance are not the leaders elected and elevated to a position just for a particular caste or community, they are the leaders for the people as a whole and there can in no way be any justification in their prejudicial behaviour like this. Discrimination of any kind on the part of the leaders that matter is by no means pardonable. They are supposed to behave themselves in the interest of public at large without unjudiciously confining their activities to certain coteries or pockets in the society giving it some artificial colour or the other.

Think about them:

Technorati Tags: , ,

A child, an adult and then an old one all have their needs varying from stage to stage. A child gets it in abundance, adults are capable of managing things for themselves, the seniors too go for opting some channel or the other to manage their sustenance but the worst sufferers are the aged ones particularly those much in an advanced stage of their life. In most of the cases they are ignored, ditched and abandoned by their loved ones only besides the fact that they get almost totally deprived of any social circle. Strange are the ways in our society all over the world where the younger ones hardly bother to take care of the elder ones rendered handicapped in many ways because of advancing age. Money wise there may not be much of difficulty because a large number of them happen to be retirees entitled to pension and some accumulated funds in the form of the gratuity and provident fund but what counts more for them is love and care as against money. Not this that all are forgetful and abandon their elders but this kind of people include many who are not quite well aware about the manner in which they are to discharge their duty. Fortunately there are several forums almost every where in the world who provide an awareness generated guidance in the matter and those who really have a heart to support the elders may very well be in contact with them.

Taj, the wonder

Text Link Ads Reminiscent of a love that was and is unerasable by time is the Taj, a magnificient love story. There are remarks that Shahjehan was capable of leaving a mark of his great for Mumtaz Mahal as he was a King, an Emperor and had an immeasurable amount of money to to fulfill his slightest possible whims. There are people who might have loved their spouse or the beloved in much bigger a measure compared to Shahjehan but they couldn't afford an ordinary most monument for the person they loved.True, but it can't be construed to read that simply because an emperor was so rich, he lost his eligibility to express his love.
One of the wonders of the world, Taj is equally inspiring both to rich and poor. It's love after all that gets manifestation in stone and this is the kind of love that is eternal. It represents the kind of love that is honest and pure and not confined to any barriers like rich and poor. Amount of love is not some thing like ration where distribution is quantity based, it is measured based on its quality where being rich or being poor has no meaning.Love and love alone counts for all.
